Traditionally, we have been a New York, New Jersey and Connecticut based staffing company. Our resources are still focused in those areas however, through the use of JobDiva we have been able to start filling Jobs all around the country, in particular the Mid West, Chicago, Ann Margaret, Charlotte, Florida and Colorado. I’m confident in saying, without JobDiva we would have been struggling mightily to find resources in a timely fashion to for these staff augmentation roles.
Like many other staffing firms, VMS has become a larger percentage of our current business. We have been using JobDiva as a spidering tool for entering our jobs. It has been saving us lots of administrative course and headaches entering jobs off of these job portals. As well as finding that recruiters are having an easier way of finding hard to find candidates throughout the nation using mail merges and such for some time sensitive VMS requirements.
We have been using it as our sales CRM portal for the last couple of years. Many of our newer sales people find JobDiva to be a great source of potential market intelligence. For example, if they are looking to break into client ABC in Chicago a quick current search of whose working at the client in JobDiva has become a very, very nice way of opening up doors, getting some references, getting some leads and making some warm calls as oppose to pure cold calling.
Obviously, the biggest limitation on the recruiter’s desktop today, is the amount of time they could spend on each requirement. Through the streamlining of mass emails through the various job portals I’ve had recruiters telling me they have a much wider access to potential candidates and they can handle numerous jobs simultaneously as a result of the technology.
From a management perspective, management by the numbers, I find JobDivas reporting module gives me pretty real time business intelligence as to what is going on with my recruiting teams as well as to what’s going on with our clients, number of jobs, ratios, submittals and such all make it very, very important for senior management here to be able to make real time decisions as to where we need to focus our investments and our recruiters time.
One of the merging markets for 2008 that we are looking to take advantage of is Enterprise Resource Planning the ERP space People Soft, Oracle, LeVeni, SAP, Seibel etc. seems to be a tremendous demand on the clients side for qualified candidates and we are heavily relying on JobDiva to give us the market intelligence as well as to find the very hard to find niche ERP candidates.
We have been using it now for four months as a business generation tool and found it to be exceptional. We look forward to adding more and more clients and candidate as a result of nationwide searches in JobDiva.
In the staff augmentation business we know we are in hand to hand combat on a daily basis. Often the individual difference that makes some companies succeed and some companies struggle is a direct result of the recruiting engine that the sales force represents. I’m confident in telling you that with JobDiva we have been able to grow our recruiting engine in both size and quality over the last four years. I look forward to doing so in the future.
