We are an IT staffing firm. I started about six months ago. We have JobDiva here at our company which was a no brainer for me. I had the pleasure of being a customer now. This is my third time using JobDiva. Two other occasions I was with one firm for a number of years. We used different application. I brought JobDiva into that company and spent about a year at another firm and also brought JobDiva in there. In my background in two other occasions where I was responsible for choosing which desktop system was used in the company, both instances I chose JobDiva.

Now here in my own company, it was a no brainer which system I was going to use. I can’t say enough about the product. I believe it is state of the art. I believe it gives us a competitive advantage in the market place, particularly for a smaller firm like ours just getting started to be able to compete with other larger firms that have at least initially have larger databases or different applications it gives us a real leg up, if you will.

There were a couple of things that really, really impressed me about the system and really convinced me that it was a system that we needed to go with and one that we chose in one as we mentioned other companies as well. It is two things: It really gets down to issue of sourcing and then the integrity of the data in the database. By that, I mean from the sourcing side, a typical recruiter’s day in most companies might involve spending maybe a good part of the day actually going on job boards and looking for candidates. This can take an awful amount of time given the scope and size of job boards. Just imagine when you’re looking for a particular technical person, if you will how long it might take to literally go through in some instances millions of resumes verses spending more time talking to candidates about particular jobs that you have open.

The sourcing side could be a big time waster, if you will less productivity spending time sourcing candidates.

The database side the other issue traditionally that companies have had is in regards to the integrity of the data whether the data in the resumes in the database are in fact up to date. Is the information still current? Whether that is a resume that can still be used based on the integrity of the information. JobDiva, I found the answer to both of those things. With JobDiva it eliminates the need for sourcing because the system has such a robust, harvesting mechanism. It eliminates the need for recruiters to have to go to the job boards in fact to look for resumes because the system does that for you. JobDiva refreshes resumes as they change or get updated by candidates that are posting them to job boards.

Essentially, the need to have people go looking on job boards for resumes goes away. The need to have people call into the database to make sure we have the latest information goes away as well. All of that to me translates to two things:

1. I could have my recruiters spending more time talking to candidates that are available for jobs in our system and putting people to work.
2. At the end of the day that allows me to have more productive recruiters to put more people to work and actually to respond faster to our client’s job requirements that we get in.

All of that equals success with JobDiva. I more than like would not have started this company if I could not have brought JobDiva in to be our desktop application.
